- No. First-timers don't take part in sparring sessions. They work on their defense techniques, movements, kicks and pucnhes, aiming to obtain the needed physical form.
President of the Club takes a decision regarding your participation in sparring sessions.
Surely yes, though it's necessary to inform the coaches what sport you used to practice or keep practicing. You should inform about your injuries, if you happened to get some.
Sparring session is a sport match aimed to train and practice your kicks and punches with your partner at your maximum speed and power. Thus trying to minimize a probability of getting injured during a match, it's very welcomes if an athlete has a full list of a Taekwondo gear, i.e. shinguards, feet protectors, Taekwondo gloves, groin protector, mouth guard, Taekwondo body protector.
